Drain Doctor Plumbing Takes a Trip to Venice PDF Print E-mail

Seven Drain Doctor Plumbing franchisees have been whisked away for a holiday in one of the most romantic cities on earth as a reward for excelling at building their businesses.
Peterborough-based Drain Doctor Plumbing's head office splashed out and took seven fanchisees and their partners to Venice for a long weekend as a reward for producing the most business per capita from their franchise over the past year.
Launched in 1993, Drain Doctor Plumbing is an established business system that provides a genuine 24 hour service, imposes no call- out fee, offers fixed-price quotations before work commences and guarantees all workmanship.

Kevin and Dawn Preston (Preston franchise), Allan and Jacqui Rook (Southampton), David and Denise Baddeley (Birmingham South/Central), Steve and Janice Johnson (Southend), David and Sharon Spurrier (Cambridge), Allan and Maggie Langford (Coventry) and Burt Tree (Bedford) were the franchisees awarded with the trip.
They were joined by Drain Doctor Plumbing's founders Jan and Freddie Mitman as well as Newark, New Jersey, - based Sheryl and Andrew August from Drain Doctor's US equivalent Mr Rooter. Making up the 25-strong party was Drain Doctor Plumbing's finance director Andrew Shaw and his wife Gill and national franchise operations manager Robin Banks and his wife.

The trip is part of the organisation's culture of looking after its franchisees and creating a corporate atmosphere that allows them to enjoy what they do.

Every year Drain Doctor Plumbing holds a conference which allows all franchisees to get together and celebrate their successes over the past year. Drain Doctor Plumbing also organises seminars featuring motivational speakers to help franchisees maintiain a positive attitude as well as arranging regular regional meetings so they can discuss and find solutions to issues affecting them.
